Michelle Alcala, OD, was born and raised in Southern California. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from the University of California, Riverside in 2018 and her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry in 2022.
Dr. Alcala has a solid medical experience with both private practice Optometry and with the US military. She worked as an Optometrist with Optimal Optometry in Ontario, CA from 2022, prior to joining California Eye Professionals. Dr. Alcala’s Optometric training included Internships in San Diego at the naval bases on Coronado and National City where she performed eye exams, visual screenings, as well as interpretation and diagnosis of ocular disease, including Pediatrics, on military members and their families. She also worked at the Veteran Affairs Clinic of Las Vegas and the University Eye Clinic in Los Angeles, CA where she performed eye exams with the emphasis on Glaucoma, ARMD and Geriatric eye disease management care alongside clinical physicians.
California Eye Professionals has three central office locations in Temecula, Menifee, and Hemet, California. Each office offers general eye examinations and eye consults. Our optical boutiques featuring designer frames and contacts are available for patients to browse at each location.
