Dr. Jacobson has over 20 years experience in medical and surgical ophthalmology. He has been specialty board certified by American Academy of Ophthalmology since 1982. Dr. Jacobson has successfully performed over 4,000 cataract surgical procedures and his surgical technique continues to evolve as new clinical data becomes available. Dr. Jacobson has performed clinical research for such industry leaders as Alcon, Allergan and Novartis . Dr. Jacobson was the first surgeon to perform cataract surgery at Menifee Valley Hospital. He is proficient in Spansh. Dr. Jacobson has been with California Eye Professionals since 1995 and is a dedicated and valued member of our eye care team.
