Some procedures may be covered by insurance.

Services provided include:

Eyelid Surgery (Lower and Upper)

A lower blepharoplasty, also known as lower eyelid surgery, is a cosmetic procedure performed to rejuvenate the appearance of the lower eyelids. This surgical technique aims to address various concerns, including under-eye bags, excess skin, and wrinkles. Lower blepharoplasty can provide remarkable results, reducing the appearance of puffiness, sagging, and fine lines, resulting in a refreshed and revitalized appearance.

An upper blepharoplasty, also known as an eyelid lift or eyelid surgery, is a cosmetic procedure performed to address aesthetic concerns and functional issues related to the upper eyelids. During the procedure, the surgeon makes precise incisions along the natural creases of the upper eyelids, allowing access to the underlying tissues. Excess skin, fat, and sometimes muscle are carefully removed or adjusted to achieve a more youthful and rejuvenated appearance.

Droopy Eyelids (Ptosis)

Droopy eyelids, medically known as ptosis, refer to a condition characterized by the sagging or downward displacement of one or both upper eyelids. This occurs when the muscles responsible for lifting the eyelids weaken or lose their elasticity. Apart from affecting one’s appearance, droopy eyelids can also interfere with vision by obstructing the line of sight and causing eye strain.

Ectropion and Entropion Repair

Ectropion repair is a surgical procedure performed on the upper or lower eyelids to correct a condition called ectropion. Ectropion is characterized by the turning outward or sagging of the eyelid, causing the inner surface of the eyelid and the eye to become exposed. This condition can lead to various symptoms such as eye irritation, excessive tearing, redness, and even blurred vision. Repair treatments can significantly improve your eye health, comfort, and aesthetics, allowing you to regain proper eyelid function and a more natural eyelid position.

Entropion repair is a surgical procedure performed to correct a condition called entropion, which affects the eyelid. Entropion is characterized by the inward turning of the eyelid, causing the eyelashes and the skin to rub against the surface of the eye, leading to irritation, redness, and discomfort. The procedure aims to restore the normal position and alignment of the eyelid to alleviate these symptoms and protect the eye.

Bulging Eyes (Graves’ Thyroid Eye Disease)

At California Eye Professionals, Dr. Warner provides medication, orbital decompression, eyelid retraction repair, and surgery to treat Graves’ Thyroid Eye disease. If you experience eye conditions (such as eyelid retraction or strabismus) as a result of this disease scheduling a consultation with our practice will allow Dr. Warner to be able to properly diagnose and treat your condition.

Botox Injections

Botulinum injections (BOTOX®, Xeomin®, DAXXIFY®) are a popular and versatile treatment option for various eye conditions and muscle spasms. These injections contain a purified form of the botulinum toxin, which works by temporarily relaxing targeted muscles. In the context of eye conditions, such as strabismus (crossed eyes) or blepharospasm (involuntary eyelid twitching), botulinum injections are administered directly into the affected muscles. The toxin blocks the release of acetylcholine, a neurotransmitter responsible for muscle contractions, effectively reducing muscle activity and restoring proper alignment or reducing spasms.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are injectable treatments primarily used to add volume to specific areas of your face. Most fillers are made of a substance called hyaluronic acid (HA). When injected, the body produces this natural substance, which can add significant volume to facial areas.

Tear Duct Surgery

Tear duct surgery can provide significant relief, restore normal tear drainage, and improve overall eye health and comfort. Also known as dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR), this procedure is designed to treat blockages or abnormalities in the tear ducts, which can cause excessive tearing, recurrent eye infections, or even blurry vision. The procedure aims to create a new drainage pathway for tears to bypass the blocked tear duct and flow into the nasal cavity, allowing for proper tear drainage.

Pterygium

Pterygium, also known as “surfer’s eye,” is a common eye condition characterized by a fleshy growth that extends onto the cornea, the clear front surface of the eye. It typically appears as a triangular-shaped, pinkish or yellowish growth that may gradually progress over time. Pterygium is often associated with excessive exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light, dry and dusty environments, and chronic eye irritation. Although it is generally harmless, pterygium can cause discomfort, redness, blurred vision, and a foreign body sensation in the affected eye. In severe cases, it may interfere with vision if it grows close to the visual axis.

Orbital Repair

Orbital repair is a surgical procedure performed to correct damage or deformities in the orbital region, which includes the bones, tissues, and structures surrounding the eye. Orbital repair aims to restore the proper functioning and aesthetics of the eye socket, particularly after trauma, fractures, or other conditions affecting the orbital area. The procedure can help improve vision, alleviate pain, restore normal eye movement, and enhance the overall appearance of the eye.

Tumor Excision and Reconstruction

Tumor excision and reconstruction is a surgical procedure performed to remove tumors or abnormal growths in various parts of the body, including the skin, soft tissues, or orbit. The primary goal of this procedure is to remove the tumor while preserving surrounding healthy tissues and structures. This treatment offers patients the opportunity to not only eliminate cancerous or abnormal growths but also to achieve optimal functional and cosmetic outcomes
